It has been a bitter-sweet few days since completion of the house sale. We’ve been with Luscombe ever since the house was built. When was it. 5 years go? I am sad that following completion it’s like losing a family but obviously pleased that, despite the challenges of coronavirus lockdown we’ve met our original objective and the sale is complete. It started with a meeting with Jane and the highly successful rental of the property, dealing largely with a very helpful Barrie. This was the first time we had become a landlord and rented out, so being green we needed the help. Tenants over the period were all great, superbly selected and managed by Luscombe. When it came to selling the property as we needed access to cash, it was really convenient for Luscombe to also handle the sale. This transition, particularly marketing and viewings, was ably handled with Penny’s help. Timing could have been better as we were in the middle of the Brexit fiasco and a depressed housing market, and when we finally got a buyer, the coronavirus hit and we were in lockdown. But despite all the resulting frustrations;, the housing market put on hold in Wales, the buyers’ daughter going down with the virus, and a very long chain, Lauren kept us sane and completion went ahead as planned with all the guidelines on social distancing etc, before the market had been opened up in Wales. Can’t thank you enough. You were great Best wishes for the future.
